Ms. Nicole Nichols Ms. Nicole Nichols
After graduating from CSUSB's department of Communications Studies in 1991, Nichols began her career as a receptionist at a well-known TV public relations firm. After just a few days on the job, she joined the executive staff and was promoted every six months, managing and executing public relations campaigns for a variety of projects including launching television shows, opening attractions at Universal Studios and handled corporate PR for Twentieth Television.

Ms. Nichols is currently the Senior Vice President of Entertainment Communications for Disney-ABC Television Group where she oversees PR efforts for five divisions of the company including; ABC Entertainment, ABC Daytime, Touchstone Television, ABC Family and SOAPnet.

Ellen Gaynor Weisser has been a steadfast supporter of higher education and health care since her graduation from CSUSB, as an alumna of the Creative Writing Track in the English Department. She chairs the College of Arts & Letters Community Leaders Board and serves on the President's Advancement Council. She was honored as "Woman of the Year" at Assemblyman Bill Emmerson's 4th Annual "Women of Distinction" Luncheon on March 27, 2008 at the Ontario Doubletree Hotel. She was selected for this honor for her commitment and immeasurable contributions to health and education.
